Hospitality with a history
The name “Zur Rennbahn” (“at the racecourse”) goes back to the traditional Stove horse race, held right next to our hotel since 1874.
An inn and ferry house once stood where the hotel is today. After a fire in 1925 it was rebuilt as an inn, and in 1987 it was completely renovated and extended with the hotel, bowling alley and restaurant.
The Elbe dyke invites you to walk, cycle or go Nordic walking. Geesthacht lies directly opposite on the other bank of the Elbe; Lüneburg, Lauenburg, Winsen and Hamburg with all their sights are within easy reach.
