Hotel Zur Rennbahn is in Drage at Stover Strand, with Geesthacht directly opposite on the other side of the Elbe. By car you take the B404 and the Elbe bridge at the Geesthacht weir towards Drage/Stover Strand.
Instead of through traffic you will find the dyke, a garden and a sandy beach. The ten freshly renovated rooms are on the ground floor, each with its own entrance, free fibre-optic Wi-Fi and space for up to three people.
There is breakfast in the morning (Mon–Fri from 7 am, Sat & Sun from 8 am, until 10 am), and in the evening our restaurant at Stover Strand cooks for you – no need to get back in the car for a good meal.

Not exactly: we are in Drage at Stover Strand, with Geesthacht directly opposite on the other bank of the Elbe – about five kilometres as the crow flies. By car you take the B404 and the Elbe bridge at the Geesthacht weir.
Can I stay with you after a party in Geesthacht?
Yes. All rooms are on the ground floor with their own entrance – you can get to your room easily even late at night. Please let us know when booking if you will arrive late.
Is the hotel suitable for business trips to Geesthacht?
Yes: desk in the room, free fibre-optic Wi-Fi, free parking right by the house and invoices to your company. Breakfast is served from 7 am on weekdays, and early check-in is possible on request.
