By car
Via the A1 (exit Harburg) or the A25/B404 towards Geesthacht, then follow the signs to Drage/Stover Strand. Free parking right at the hotel.
From Geesthacht
Geesthacht lies directly opposite on the other bank of the Elbe – about five kilometres as the crow flies. By car the route leads over the B404 and the Elbe bridge at the Geesthacht weir, then towards Drage/Stover Strand. Hotel near Geesthacht
By bus & train
Plan your current connection to Drage via the HVV at hvv.de. The nearest bus stop is in Drage.
By bike
The Elbe Cycle Route runs right past the hotel. Bikes are kept under cover right by the house. All for cyclists

When are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 3 pm, check-out by 11 am. For special arrival times, please contact us in advance.
Are dogs and pets allowed?
Pets are very welcome by prior arrangement. We charge €5 per pet per night. Dogs are also welcome in the restaurant and on the terrace.
Is there free parking?
Yes, there is plenty of free parking right at Hotel Zur Rennbahn.
How can I pay?
In the hotel and restaurant we accept cash, Girocard, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Is there Wi-Fi in the hotel?
Yes, free fibre-optic Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.
How many rooms are there, and is the hotel non-smoking?
We have 10 individual guest rooms. The entire hotel is non-smoking.
Is breakfast included, and when is it served?
We serve breakfast Monday to Friday from 7 am and on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 am, until 10 am. It can be booked optionally at extra cost.
How do I reach the hotel by bus and train?
Plan your current connection to Drage via the Hamburg transport network HVV at hvv.de. The nearest bus stop is in Drage.
When is the restaurant open?
Our restaurant is open Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon and Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 5 pm. Hot food is served until 9 pm; closed on Mondays and Thursdays. We recommend reserving a table.
Can I charge my e-bike?
Yes: on request you can charge e-bike batteries at a socket. Your bikes are kept under cover right by the house. There is no dedicated charging station.
Are the rooms suitable for families with children?
All rooms have two beds plus a sofa bed, so up to three people can sleep in each. You can borrow a travel cot from us.
Is the menu online?
Yes, our current menu with prices is on the Menu page. The menu changes with the seasons; we also post daily specials on Instagram and Facebook.
Can I hold a dog event with you?
Yes. Behind the house lies the former sports field, a large meadow that is ideal for dog schools, club meetings or training days. We discuss prices and available dates personally – please call or write to us.
